ABOUT PAUL
Paul Martin is the UK's #1 hospitality trainer and motivational speaker with a career stretching back over 30 years. In his early twenties he won seven global mixology titles, set two Guinness world mixology records and opened the award-winning cocktail bar, Kudos in South West London.
After selling Kudos in 1994, Paul went on to pioneer the role of the cocktail consultant, establishing himself as one of the very first cocktail advisors to the UK spirits industry, during which period he also began to create and deliver some of the most impactful industry training courses available. Over the following two decades, Paul developed a truly unique approach to training and speaking which now sets him apart as the most in-demand 'voice of change' on the UK hospitality scene. With a passion for human connection and communication, driven by a desire to release our inner potential, Paul has transformed the careers of thousands of hospitality professionals and the fortunes of hundreds of hospitality businesses.
A multiple best-selling author, Paul's latest book Ultimate Bartending is set to become the definitive hospitality guide to delivering spectacular levels of service. Much of Paul's fascination with the idea of service through communication comes from another of his loves, British Sign Language. He is qualified in BSL to level 3 and has taught the subject at introductory level also. In fact, the combination of hospitality expertise and communication skills training has resulted in Paul being sought by businesses outside of the hospitality industry too.
